The reels
The slot machine: symbols, lines & summons
Match lines on the 3×3 slot machine to summon units. When planning a rare summon, separate whether its symbol can appear from whether the symbols form a winning line. An effect that supplies one symbol does not complete the whole summon.
Read the reels and army as one loop

The official demo description connects the three-by-three reels, matched lines and summoned units. The army then needs room and a plan for the units it receives.
Start by asking whether you need another unit, a particular symbol, or a way to improve the units already present. Those questions lead to different choices.
Separate access, arrangement and result
Joker Seed illustrates the first stage: its recorded text gives each slot a 1.5% chance to show a Jester hat. That number describes a symbol in a slot, not the probability of summoning Jester.
For alignment, Inaqea’s Jester plan uses extra nudge help from Rebound Axis. The same player reports getting three hats without aligning them, which explains why adding hats and completing a line are separate tasks.

A downward nudge that completes a diagonal
In this recorded move, the middle column shifts down one position. A Spear symbol enters at the top, while the Bow and Shield move down. The Bow symbols then connect from bottom-left through the centre to top-right, and an Archer appears.
Before: Bow / Shield / Horse

After: Spear / Bow / Shield

Read this as one worked alignment example. It does not establish every winning line, how many nudges you have, or a rule that the bottom symbol cycles back to the top.
Change the part that is actually missing
- No access to the symbol: inspect effects that introduce it.
- Too few opportunities: read when an effect supplies a symbol, such as the scheduled Torn Note hat.
- A near-miss arrangement: read the placement adjustment you currently have.
- An army that is already full: check the incoming unit and absorption decision before treating the machine as broken.
This is a way to diagnose a setup, not a formula for guaranteed results. Use only the effect and timing displayed by your current game.
