Joker Seed, Notes & alignment effects

Check Joker Seed for hat-symbol access, Black Note or Torn Note for scheduled hat opportunities, and Rebound Axis for extra alignment help in Inaqea’s setup. These solve different problems; effects that need an existing unit do not help the same first-summon task.

A practical setup comparison. The order describes your questions, not a guaranteed purchase or roll sequence.

Compare the effect’s timing and job before putting it into your setup. The reference below focuses on what these effects do for a first-Jester attempt.

EffectReported or shown jobWhat it does not settle
Joker SeedEach slot has a 1.5% chance to show a Jester hat; the video marks it Passive. The probability of a complete winning line or unit summon.
Black NoteInaqea reports a hat on the first spin of each wave.Whether that hat completes your arrangement.
Torn NoteA hat every sixth spin in the video explanation and player setup. All the other symbols and their placement.
Rebound AxisInaqea uses the extra nudge as alignment help.Access to a symbol that your setup cannot otherwise supply.

Does it help before you own the unit?

For the first Jester, prioritize an effect that can act before the first summon. Inaqea says the proposed Bloodline Seal interaction depends on an earlier absorption and does not help the first Jester in that plan.

The same author reports that Old Crown cannot select the hat symbol. Treat those as the limits of that player’s setup report, rather than extending the conclusion to every version or effect combination.

Once Jester is already present, the question changes: you can plan the next class or the value of subsequent units instead of continuing to solve first-symbol access.

Re-read old item advice after 0.4

The official 0.4.0 announcement says the Item system was reworked. An older screenshot or guide can therefore show a familiar name without establishing its current effect.

For a purchase, use the text in your current demo. Compare its timing, target and prerequisite with the specific job you need. That is more useful than following a list that labels every effect as essential.
