The first summon
How to get Jester
Work on three separate problems: access to Jester-hat symbols, more chances to see them, and aligning three hat symbols on a winning line. Joker Seed is the starting effect in the observed setup; a hat appearing by itself is not a summon.
Start with symbol access
If you are looking for your first Jester, start by checking for Joker Seed. In Dabble’s playthrough, its card is named Joker Seed, marked Passive, and says each slot has a 1.5% chance to show a Jester hat.
That is a per-slot symbol effect. It is not a 1.5% chance to summon the unit, and it does not tell you the odds of a complete winning line.
See Joker Seed at 05:06 in Dabble’s demo playthrough.
Add opportunities, then help the alignment
Black Note
Inaqea reports a guaranteed hat on the first spin of each wave. Its role in this plan is another opportunity to build a line.
Torn Note
Every sixth spin is described as containing a hat. Dabble also explains this scheduled symbol in the playthrough.
Rebound Axis
Inaqea considers the extra nudge useful for placement. Think of it as alignment help, after you can obtain the symbols.
For a first attempt, use this order of questions: Can hats appear? When do I get another hat? Can I improve this arrangement? It keeps a symbol-access problem separate from a near-miss you might be able to adjust.
Keep first-summon help separate from later value
A follow-up effect is not automatically a way to get the first unit. Inaqea specifically says the proposed Bloodline Seal interaction would not help with the first Jester in their plan: it relies on an absorption that has already happened.
The same author reports that Old Crown cannot select the Jester-hat symbol. Do not spend a first-Jester setup around that proposed selection based only on the effect’s general description.
Those two limits come from that player’s report. The useful planning rule is to read what an effect needs before it can help, especially when you do not yet have the unit.
What this setup can do
It gives you a practical way to organize the attempt. It does not guarantee a roll. Inaqea reported seeing three hat symbols together twice without getting them aligned; the suggested combination remained a strategy to try.
The official unit name is Jester. The older discussion uses Joker; Joker Seed is the card name visible in the video. This guide uses Jester for the unit and keeps that card name intact.
Once you have Jester, switch from symbol access to its current promotion choices. The observed first branch is Trickster or Ferret Tamer.
